Fr. 2800.-- including VAT
A very showy, impressive gwindel specimen with a 16 cm (6,5") wide and 8 cm (3") high gwindel that is nicely supported by a single quartz point near the base.
Gwindels being a twisted stack of points is in this case particularly evident as the single sub-points are well formed. Very dark saturated color and great luster.
While the single point is complete (internal cracks due to ice pressure), the gwindel has contacts and break surfaces on both sides. The top, the front and the upper points are intact, so the all over aesthetic impression is very good. The back side has a large contact and bits of another crystal attached and partially broken off. This is not visible from the great looking front side, though.
Fedenstock is a mountain often visited by Strahler legend Xaver Gnos, who found this specimen.
