You could say that this point captures the essence of the legendary Planggenstock cleft for a very reasonable price. This fully intact, light smoky quartz consists of two parallel sub-individuals that form one point with two tips. It has a slight chlorite dusting on its pyramid faces (yet still has luster) and is glassy clear in the middle.
The point is 12 cm high (approx. 6"). It was found in the late 90s and quality-wise is among the very best found in the early Planggenstock finds.
The cleft became world famous when clear, complete crystals up to 1 meter in length (40"!) were found between 2005 and 2009.
