Sizable smoky quartz specimen from the famous Rufibach Cleft. Outstanding quartz quality: high luster, great clarity, dark color, basically no damage and great color contrast to the white granite matrix.
The points are mostly lying on the matrix instead of sticking out. This looks great, too, and results in a much lower price.
17x10 cm (approx. 7"x4").
So if you're looking for an Alpine quartz having all the quality characteristics but a much more affordable price, this is the piece.
