Nicely twisted white quarttz gwindel, 5.6 cm high and 5.2 cm wide. As a very unusual and interesting extra, balls of ankerite are covering parts of it.
The points on the side are all intact. The bottom is a break surface. Luster is silky, most likely due to a complete, former carbonate covering.
A unique gwindel that makes a very nice addition to any Alpine collection.
