A Colorado rhodochrosite, presumably from the 19th century. Nice dark pink color, some crystal faces and well-formed pyrite crystals.
75x55 mm (approx. 3"x2").

No question: not a top piece but nevertheless an attractive, very historical specimen from a famous Colorado mine. And this at a very affordable price.
