That's a must for any serious collection: A rhodochrosite of very impressive proportions from a very historic locality.
Rhombohedral rhodochrosite crystals that seem subdivided into countless "sub crystals". The color is a pale pink with some gradient within the large rhombohedra.
The crystals are partially hollow on the back side and contain some small pyrite crystals.
Specimen size: 11x7 cm.
A significant yet still affordable specimen from the collection of Bertold Suhner (1910-1988).
